Services & Payment - Terms and Conditions

1. Service Authorisation:

•             By submitting this intake form, you authorise In4mative Tech Solutions to diagnose, repair, and/or service the equipment specified herein.
•             You agree to accept the associated fees & charges associated with the diagnosis, repair, and/or service performed by In4mative Tech Solutions.

2. Liability Release:
•             In4mative Tech Solutions will take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your equipment and data during the repair process. However, we cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or corruption of data or equipment that may occur during the repair process.
•             You understand and acknowledge the inherent risks involved in servicing electronic equipment and agree to release In4mative Tech Solutions and its technicians from any liability arising from such risks.

3. Warranty:
•             Repairs performed by In4mative Tech Solutions are covered by a 30-day warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, unless otherwise specified.
•             This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorised modifications or repair attempts, or acts of nature.

4. Payment:
•             Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the repair, unless prior arrangements have been made.
•             Payment can be made via CASH or Credit/Debit Card (via our electronic payment gateway service attached to your emailed invoice).
•             In the event that payment is not received within 7 days of completion, In4mative Tech Solutions reserves the right to charge a late payment fee of 5% per week on the outstanding balance. This fee will can be added multiple times until outstanding balance is cleared.

5. Estimates/Quotes:
•             All repair estimates/quotes provided by In4mative Tech Solutions are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
•             If additional issues are discovered during the repair process that were not included in the original estimate/quote, In4mative Tech Solutions will provide you with a revised estimate/quote for approval before proceeding with the additional work.


6. Data Backup:

•             It is your responsibility to back up all data stored on your equipment prior to submitting it for repair.
•             In4mative Tech Solutions will not be held responsible for any loss or corruption of data during the repair process.

7. Customer Obligations:
•             You agree to provide In4mative Tech Solutions with accurate and complete information regarding the equipment and the issues you are experiencing.
•             You agree to promptly respond to any communications from In4mative Tech Solutions regarding your repair, including requests for additional information or approval for repairs.

8. Non-Disclosure:
•             In4mative Tech Solutions agrees to keep all information provided by you confidential and to use it solely for the purpose of providing the requested services.
•             You agree not to disclose any confidential information obtained from In4mative Tech Solutions to any third parties.

9. Governing Law:
•             These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of NSW, Australia.

10. Modification of Terms:
•             In4mative Tech Solutions reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other notification to you.


11. Minimum Inspection Charge (Workshop Repairs):

•             A non-refundable minimum inspection fee of $82.50 applies when no repairs are able to be completed, to cover the professional assessment/diagnosis conducted by our service technician/s.

Onsite Travel Charges:
•             A travel fee will be applied for service addresses located more than 5 kilometres from the In4mative Tech Solutions workshop (as per Google Maps). This charge is calculated based on the total distance travelled (1 way only) and will be included in the final invoice.

Service Charges:
•             A minimum service / inspection fee will be charged for 
all service engagements (see below).

  • Remote Support Services - Minimum Charge of $82.50 applies. This covers up to the first half hour, additional labour applies after the 1st Half Hour.
  • Workshop Repair Services - Minimum Charge of 1 Hour of Labour (unless term 11 above applies and no repairs were performed)
  • Onsite Support Services -  Minimum Charge of 1 hour of Labour for all onsite service engagements
  • Onsite Service charges are calculated based on the time spent by our technician/s from the moment they begin preparing resources or depart from the workshop to travel to the service site. This ensures that all necessary preparations and travel time are accounted for in the overall service fee.
  • Call Out Fee - A callout fee is charged to cover the cost of dispatching a technician to your location. This fee is applicable for all out of hours services, urgent requests (unscheduled) and is equivalent to Half Hour (1/2) of the applicable Labour charge for your service requirements, regardless of the outcome of the service.


You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions when engaging with In4mative Tech Solutions for your sales, repairs or installation requirements.
